Lars Herder was a Swedish painter and cartoonist. He studied with Hjalmar Eldh and Nils Wedel in Gothenburg (1941-1944) and at Eric Clemmensen's painting school in Copenhagen (1945-1948) as well in Paris, Germany and Poland. Herder is represented at the Modern Museum and Trelleborg Museum. A memorial exhibition of his art was shown at Sofiero Castle in 2008.
